Three ways to play.
How it works
Movie night in three steps.
One screen for the clips, one phone each for the answers.
-
Host on the TV
Open this page on the big screen and press Host a game. It shows a room code and a QR code.
-
Friends join by phone
They scan the QR code or type the four letters. No app to install, no account to make.
-
Guess the clip
A real movie scene plays on every screen. Pick the title from four: faster right answers score more.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
Do I need a TV?
No. The clip plays on every phone too, so friends on one couch or in different homes can play on their phones alone. A TV or a laptop on the big screen makes it a party.
How do I put it on the TV?
Open this page in the TV’s browser, or cast a browser tab from a laptop, and press Host a game. The TV shows a room code and a QR code. There is nothing to install.
Do my friends need an app or an account?
Neither. They scan the QR code or type the room code on the Join page, pick a name and play in their phone’s browser. Signing in with Google only keeps your level and your games across devices.
How many can play?
Up to 100 in a room; the lobby starts at 20. Everyone gets the same clips at the same time and plays against each other.
I don’t know many movies. Is it too hard?
A room of new players gets the best-known films first, and harder ones as the room levels up. Speed counts as much as knowing: faster right answers score more, and a streak adds a bonus.
Where do the clips come from?
From clip.cafe, a library of movie clips. Each question is a short real scene, and you pick its title from four.
What if someone joins late or loses signal?
They rejoin with the same code and carry on. Someone who joins during a break plays from the next clip.
Where do I find people to play with?
On our Discord. Hosts post their rooms there for anyone to join, and game nights are announced with a reminder before they start.
